About the Allied Health Assistant - Dietetics, DE, CN role
Join our Dietetics, Diabetes Education and Community Nursing team and work with diverse clients and groups, delivering hands-on care, assisting with programs and helping drive inclusive, person-centred health outcomes. Reporting to the Dietetics, Diabetes Education & Community Nursing Coordinator, this is a ongoing part-time role (0.5 FTE). Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Perform all duties of Grade 1 and 2 AHAs
- Build strong, person-centred relationships across teams and services
- Assist with planning, student placements, stock and clinical audits
- Deliver safe, high-quality care with minimal supervision
- Support client progress with nutrition risk checks and group sessions
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent and / or relevant work experience.
- Minimum three years full-time equivalent experience as a Grade 2 Allied Health Assistant.
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain.
