About the Social Support Worker role
Partner with consumers to encourage consumer directed decision making to plan, implement, facilitate and evaluate group activities and gentle exercises.
Reporting to the Social Support Coordinator, this is an on-going part-time role (0.55 FTE).
Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide activities that meets participant's diverse needs.
- Monitor allocation of program resources, supplies and ensure appropriate storage.
- Plan, coordinate and cook meals for the group with support of the program cook.
- Coordinate taxis and drive transport for participants.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support and/or Cert IV in Lifestyle & Leisure
- Qualifications in disability support (highly desirable)
- Qualifications in food safety (desirable)
- Current Victorian Driver's License
