About the Home Care Support Worker role
Support consumers to stay independent at home and connected in their community. Provide care, social support and group activities that promote wellbeing and inclusion, while working with a passionate team committed to improving health outcomes for all. Reporting to the Social Support Coordinator, this is a ongoing part-time role (0.8 FTE). Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Support clients with personal care, domestic tasks and social needs
- Plan and run gentle exercise, group activities and outings
- Promote independence with respectful, person-centred care
- Travel to homes and deliver tailored, in-home support
- Build confidence and encourage meaningful client participation
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Certificate III in Home and Community Services, Aged Care, Disability or equivalent
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- Current Light Rigid Endorsed Driver’s License (desirable)
- Qualifications in Food Safety (desirable)
