About the Oral Health Therapist role
We are seeking an experienced clinician to join our team in a 0.4 FTE part-time fixed-term position until 30 June 2027.
In this role, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, oral health promotion and education across a variety of settings including fixed clinics, mobile vans, schools, early childhood centres and aged care facilities, helping to improve oral health outcomes for priority and vulnerable communities.
Preference will be given to applicants with more than 5 years’ adult clinical experience, with remuneration based on clinical experience up to a maximum of Level 2E. Offices located in the Northern Suburbs.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Deliver evidence-based, person-centred oral health care with clinical autonomy
- Promote oral health through education programs, including Smile Squad and community outreach
- Apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive and prevention-focused care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated care
- Maintain accurate clinical records using Titanium and digital systems
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Bachelor of Oral Health (or equivalent)
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as an Oral Health Therapist
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Ionizing Radiation Apparatus Use License in Victoria for Intra-Oral Radiography (desired)
- Extended scope of Practice in Adult Dental Therapy (desired)
