About the Senior Occupational Therapist role

Make a meaningful impact as a Senior Occupational Therapist, delivering evidence-based care in home and community settings. Use your clinical expertise and leadership skills to support independence, safety and wellbeing while helping shape high-quality OT services.

Reporting to the Occupational Therapy Coordinator, this is a ongoing part-time role (0.5 FTE). Offices located in the Northern Suburbs. 

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services.
  • Partner with clients to set goals, build capacity and support wellbeing.
  • Lead clinical practice, service improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapists, AHAs and students.
  • Evaluate service outcomes, identify improvements and raise service issues.

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Registered Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Eligible for membership of the Occupational Therapy Association of Australia
  • Hold and maintain current Australian driver's licence
  • Provider registration with State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP) (desired)
