About the General Practitioner role
We are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join the Medical Services team on a full time or part time basis.
You will have the opportunity to work within and/or alongside by one of more of our General Practice and Specialist Clinics aligning with your areas of interest, including:
- General Practice
- Lymphoedema clinic
- Pharmacotherapy clinic
- Refugee Health clinic
- Specialist Paediatric Development and Behavioural clinic
- Trans and Gender Diverse Health clinic (gender-affirming care)
- Vitamin D clinic
Reporting to the Medical services manager, we have full-time, part-time and locum options available.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Provide high quality appropriate Primary care services including management of acute illness
- Work with the community to increase their capacity to make choices to enhance their health and well being
- Refer patients to other providers within YourCH and external services
- Advise & respond to medical/health problems of patients which includes history taking, diagnosis investigation & treatment
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Fellowship with RACGP or Equivalent
- Experience with Primary Care and or sexual health medical services
- Sensitivity to the needs of marginalised people and their ability to access services
