About the Counselling Coordinator role

Lead and shape the future of counselling services at Your Community Health by driving excellence in care, strategy, and innovation, empowering a skilled workforce, and owning the strategic direction, budget, and operational success of the program while championing continuous improvement and impactful service delivery.

Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, this is an ongoing part-time role (0.8 FTE).

Your Passion and Commitment will see you:

  • Drive high-impact counselling services, ensuring exceptional care and outcomes
  • Manage budget, strategic planning, and operations to fuel success
  • Inspire workforce growth, providing leadership, guidance, and supervision
  • Offer expert advice and leadership on Family Violence and Mental Health reform
  • Maintain a 0.2FTE clinical caseload to make a direct impact on clients’ lives

To succeed in this role you will have:

  • The ability to leverage lived experience to empower clients at Your Community Health
  • Proven leadership in staff management, including planning, motivation, and performance
  • The ability to be agile and resilient in a changing environment
  • Experience in developing and evaluating impactful projects and programs
  • A strong understanding of community health principles and the social model of care
