About the Podiatrist role
Join a dynamic, client-focused team delivering exceptional podiatry services to diverse communities. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth, with support in reflective practice, clinical skill development, and peer knowledge sharing, as well as access to tailored professional development activities. Ideal for experienced Grade 1 podiatrists (min. 2 years of clinical experience preferred) or Grade 2 podiatrists.
This flexible part-time position offers the potential for full-time hours, with a minimum commitment of 0.4 FTE. Reporting to the Podiatry Coordinator, you’ll benefit from structured individual supervision and ongoing support to develop your career.
Your Passion and Commitment will see you:
- Deliver high-quality care through comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and implementation
- Empower clients by applying self-management principles, health coaching, and motivational interviewing
- Collaborate with referral sources and health professionals to facilitate seamless client care and transitions
- Evaluate client progress and outcomes, providing clear communication to clients and stakeholders
- Manage a diverse podiatry caseload, ensuring adherence to the podiatry scope of practice across various funding streams and community groups
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years of podiatry clinical experience
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across various funding streams
- Passion for providing high-quality, evidence-based podiatry services
- Strong communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary teams and vulnerable clients
